As we grow and learn we take information in via our senses. We gather information through our eyes, ears, nose, mouth and skin (tactile). We also learn through movement (vestibular) and our muscle and joint (kinesthetic/proprioceptive) sensations.
Our goal is to help our students learn how our bodies work and to begin to develop strategies to intrinsically modulate and self-regulate their activity levels. Here are some fun sensory activities to enjoy with your child.
