The Freedom Integrated Preschool is an educational program for Preschoolers in SAU #13 and surrounding towns, including Special Needs students.  Special needs students should be referred for evaluation in order to determine eligibility and to develop appropriate programs.
The program offers developmentally appropriate activities designed to foster children's cognitive, social, emotional and physical development.  It includes a variety of teacher directed activities, as well as free time for the children to explore and play.
Services or consultation in the areas of special education, speech/language development, and occupational/physical therapy are available to assist in the classroom.  The team works together to help make your child's preschool program a success.
The program is in session 5 days/week and your child has the option of attending 2-5 days.  Individual arrangements should be made for the number of days you would like your child to attend.  Preschool is in session from 12:30-2:50 and the schedule follows the Freedom School calendar.  Parents are responsible for transporting their child to and from the program.  In order to be eligible, your child must turn three prior to attending preschool.
