Text Box: SPECIAL ACTIVITIES
Throughout the school year, various school sponsored clubs and activities occur. A signed permission slip for participation is required. Transportation home must be provided by the parent. If someone other than the parent will be picking up the child, please advise the school in writing. In the case of cancellation, students are notified and sent home via their normal means of transportation.

NON-SCHOOL ACTIVITIES
Many groups and organizations (After School Program, 4-H, YMCA, etc.) use the school building after school hours. The Freedom School is pleased to have the students as our guests. Respect for school and student property is expected.

SPORTS
All students participating in school sporting activities must have on file with the school a signed permission slip from a parent and/or guardian allowing the child to participate. In signing this form the parent and/or guardian are assuming full responsibility as to the child’s wellness and physical ability to participate.

The various after school baseball programs that take place in the spring are not official school activities. The Freedom School is pleased to assist with these programs by passing along information, etc. Any concerns in regard to these programs should be directed to the various coaches. Permission slips to remain after school are required. In the case of cancellation, students are notified and sent home via their normal means of transportation.

BUILDING USE
The community is encouraged to use the Freedom Elementary School for meetings, programs, activities, etc. Prior arrangements need to be made through the office by completing the necessary paperwork. A sign in/out sheet is located on a clipboard at the entrance of the school lobby. Please sign in and out when entering and leaving the building.
