Text Box: BICYCLE RULES
Students may choose to ride bicycles to school. They are reminded to follow the appropriate rules and regulations for safe bicycling. All students riding bicycles should wear helmets.

Students are reminded to park their bicycles in the bicycle rack when they arrive. Students with bicycles will be allowed to leave after the buses have departed. They are to leave the school via the school exit.

Please be reminded that the Freedom School assumes that a child arriving on a bicycle has done so with their parents permission. Should the school warrant weather conditions unsafe for riding home (teeming rain, ice, lightning, etc.), students will then be directed to place their bicycles in the building for the night and take the bus home.

Caps/Hats are not be worn in school, and if worn on the way to school, should be placed in the student’s cubby or locker until dismissal.
In winter, or during inclement weather, it is suggested that students bring a separate pair of shoes or sneakers to be worn in the classroom different than the footwear (i.e. boots) worn outside for the cold or inclement weather.
These regulations are stated so that they may serve as a reminder that it is the responsibility of each student and his/her parents to use good judgment when selecting clothes for school. The school administrator reserves the right to determine if a student is properly dressed.
