Text Box: Extra-Curricular Trips:
The bus rules and regulations would apply to any trip under the sponsorship of the School District.

Change In Route:
From time-to-time it becomes necessary to make unscheduled alterations in the bus route. All parents must be aware of this possibility. Parents are encouraged to discuss “back up plans” should this occur (example: the bus driver must run the route in another fashion because of a sudden wash out. Your child could be dropped off 25 minutes earlier than usual or arrive home later). These emergency situations are impossible to predict, therefore, parents should discuss a “back up plan” with their child.

Change In Destination:
All students must provide a note to the bus driver AND to the teacher, if they plan to leave the bus at any location other than their scheduled stop.
Due to the school enrollment and the complexity of the bus runs, parents should NOT ASSUME that room would be available for their child to ride on a different bus. Please check with the office before making any arrangements.
We will do our best to accommodate permanent baby-sitting arrangements. Day-to-day changes in baby-sitting locations are more difficult to schedule. Parents should not presume that changes in the bus schedules can always be accommodated.

Discipline:
While on the bus, the student is under the supervision of the bus driver. The bus driver may assign seats when necessary.

The bus driver may never put a child off the bus anywhere except the child’s home, the designated bus stop or his/her school.

The Superintendent of Schools, or the Principal, as his/her designated representative, is authorized to suspend the right of a pupil from riding on a school bus, when said pupil fails to conform to reasonable rules and regulations of the school.
